Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is a Design Partnership?

The Design Partnerships are a flexible retainer option that lets us work together long-term. Instead of starting over with each new project, you get a trusted design partner who understands your brand, anticipates what’s coming next, and helps grow your business with cohesive, strategic design.

  • How do the rates work?

Rates depend on the number of dedicated design hours you reserve each month. The more hours you include, the more projects and support we can cover. This also helps ensure your brand stays super consistent and evolves alongside your business.

  • How are the hours used?

Your dedicated design hours cover the work itself, along with the strategy, project management, and revisions, and are tracked monthly to give you full transparency.

  • What if I don’t use all my hours in a month?

Retainer hours are set each month and don't roll over — but in practice, we rarely leave hours on the table. Between strategy, design, revisions, and the ongoing work of keeping your brand sharp, we put them to good use. And as your business ebbs and flows, we can always revisit your retainer tier to make sure you have the right level of support.

  • How long does a typical project take?

Short answer: 6-12 weeks. If you’re looking for a specific scope, such as a website buildout or brand identity, I can put together a custom proposal outlining the timeline.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely! Depending on the project and timeline, we can talk about a payment plan to help make the investment a bit easier.

  • Do you only work with wellness businesses?

While my heart is in wellness and lifestyle, I’m happy to work with any founder-led business with vision and a commitment to investing in its brand.

  • Do you handle both design AND the website build?

Yep! When we partner on a website, I’ll handle the design and the development myself so nothing gets lost in translation.

  • What makes you different from other designers?

After years at one of the Big Four accounting firms, I bring Fortune 500-level strategic thinking to small-business brand work. I’m never just trying to make something that looks good. I’m focused on design that will actually drive your business forward.
