I'm here to do more than just build you a website and then send you on your way.

I partner with you for the long haul, making sure our designs work, adjusting them along the way, and celebrating every win as your brand grows.

You might think that hiring a designer is just about checking another task, like a logo or website, off your list.

But what many business owners don’t realize until they’re in the thick of it is that design decisions have a direct impact on business growth.

When design gets treated as a checklist instead of an interconnected strategy, you end up with a series of one-off projects.

They might look great and solve the immediate need you’ve been dying to get off your plate, but they rarely support your brand long-term.

Eventually, that approach leads to frustration, wasted time, and the constant dread of having to start over with a new designer every time something new comes up.

That’s exactly why most of my work today happens through ongoing partnerships with lifestyle and wellness brands that are constantly changing, growing, and evolving. Did they always start out that way? Nope. But many eventually realized the value of having a trusted design partner who already understands their brand, can anticipate what’s coming next, and helps everything keep pace with your growth.

It’s a much smoother process for everyone involved, and skips all the wasted time & effort that comes from starting over every time a new project appears.

At my core, I believe in:

Vision

Great design starts with seeing the bigger picture. Instead of just looking at the project in front of me, I’m always thinking about where your brand is heading and how the work we do today can support that growth.

Every decision is made with intention so your brand feels cohesive, instantly recognizable, and ready for what’s ahead.

Partnership

The best work happens when design is a collaborative experience. The connection I have with my clients is what allows me to really understand your business, audience, and challenges.

That way, I can support your brand more thoughtfully and show up as a reliable creative partner you can count on long after the first project is finished.

Strategy

Good design should do more than just look good. It should drive your business forward—but it can’t do that unless it’s part of a bigger plan.

With a background leading strategy for Fortune 500 companies, I approach every project as the next piece of the puzzle to ensure all design choices support your goals and work seamlessly together across every touchpoint.

Who is the Blue Giraffe?

Glad you asked.

I’m a Ringling College of Art & Design–trained designer who built my career developing creative strategy for some of the most demanding, high-stakes environments in the world. For the better part of my career, that meant the Office of the Chairman at one of the world’s largest professional services firms — where I partnered with senior leaders to craft the stories, visuals, and digital experiences that won hundreds of millions of dollars in new business from Fortune 500 clients across sectors including global athletic brands, international energy companies, and major financial institutions.

In that world, there was no room for “good enough.” Every deliverable had to be both strategically airtight and visually arresting. Every story had to land. Every detail — down to the last pixel — had to earn its place.

I brought that same standard to every pursuit. And I bring it to every founder I work with today.

Design is in my DNA

Being from a family of creators, I inherited thoughtfulness & perspective that guides every single thing I design.

A black-and-white engraving of a large industrial factory with smokestacks, horse-drawn carriages, and pedestrians.
A close-up of a dark grey, industrial R. Hoe & Co. printing press with gold-painted lettering and emblems.

I like to think that a big part of my creativity comes from my family genes. My great-great-uncle, Richard March Hoe, invented the rotary printing press in 1847 in NYC, and I’ve always felt like it’s such a cool legacy to carry forward. As a kid, I was drawn to complicated problems that required creative thinking & solutions, but knowing about my family history pushed me toward art and creating even more. After all, it runs in my blood. That drive I inherited helped me go from Ringling College of Art and Design all the way to Deloitte, where I spent the majority of my corporate career leading creative strategy.

When I started my business in 2023, it didn’t take long to realize that wellness and lifestyle founders were the people I wanted to work with most. These brands need a true partner, not just a designer, and my experience at Deloitte taught me how to combine strategy, creativity, and attention to detail to help brands grow intentionally and sustainably.

The name of my business comes from my love of giraffes, a fascination that started when I was just a little kid visiting the Central Park Zoo. My dad helped me start a collection that quickly grew as friends and family began contributing as well. Each giraffe in my collection represents something specific: a memory, a person, a feeling.

I wanted my work to feel the same.

My clients will never forget the thought or intention behind what I create for them, because I approach every project with the same care that I’ve brought to my collection. Every choice is deliberate and designed to support their brand in a meaningful, lasting way.

A few things about me

Go-to workday drink: Diet Coke—no hesitation. I like an iced tea now and then, too, but a full-body scan would probably confirm that I’m at least 80% Diet Coke.

When I’m stressed: I create! Avoiding a problem doesn’t often work for me. Instead, I move on to another project while the ideas percolate in my head. Working a jigsaw puzzle, picking up my knitting, or gardening (in the summer, at least) usually gets me to a solid solution faster than just trying to force one.

Most memorable client experience: Helping Balanced Yoga Barre grow their revenue by 63% and increase their monthly site visits by 212% after launching their new website and through the work we completed during our 18+ month partnership. I truly became the strategic partner for the business, and watching them go from a local fitness studio to an acquisition-worthy brand in less than 2 years was incredibly rewarding.
